For my graduate show, I am delighted to share with you all a project where I have taken a step back from graphic design to create one brand that represents my own beliefs as a designer.
The Humble Skin is a skincare branding project inspired by the cluttered bathroom countertops, overflowing with bottles and containers, brands, shapes and colours.
Why are so many products gender stereotypically designed when their function isn’t gender specific? In response I have designed packaging for a range of “basic bathroom essentials” to cater equally for all genders.
Sustainability, androgyny, minimalism and contemporary styling are The Humble Skin’s core values. The aesthetic is clean and unobtrusive.
The product line includes a body wash, a face wash, a shampoo, a conditioner, an exfoliating bar and a 100% natural degradable luffa.
